US Will Lose Its Psychological War: Iranian Ambassador
Iran's Ambassador to the UN: US Psychological Warfare Will Fail
Iran's ambassador to the United Nations, Majid Takht Ravanchi, asserted that the US will not succeed in its "psychological warfare" against Iran.
Speaking at a Security Council meeting on Iran, Ravanchi said that the US is attempting to "create a sense of fear and insecurity" in Iran but will ultimately fail.
Ravanchi also denounced the US withdrawal from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), the nuclear deal between Iran and world powers, and the re-imposition of sanctions on Iran.
Ravanchi: US "Maximum Pressure" Campaign Has Failed
Ravanchi said that the US's "maximum pressure" campaign against Iran has failed to achieve its objectives.
He said that Iran's economy has been impacted by the sanctions but that the country has been able to withstand the pressure.
Ravanchi warned, "We will not surrender to American bullying. We will continue to resist US aggression."
