EA Sports UFC 5 Review: A Knockout Experience on PS5
Gorgeously Brutal and Realistic
EA Sports UFC 5 has arrived on PlayStation 5, and it's the best mixed martial arts game you can play. Whether you're a seasoned veteran of the Octagon or just stepping into the cage for the first time, UFC 5 has something for you.
Every Punch, Kick, Knee, and Elbow Strike
UFC 5's combat system is second to none. The controls are incredibly responsive, and the animations are smooth and realistic. You feel every punch, kick, knee, and elbow strike as you land it on your opponent. The game also features a new grappling system that is much more user-friendly than in previous UFC games.
Presentation That Is As Bloody As It Is Beautiful
UFC 5's presentation is also top-notch. The graphics are stunning, and the crowd is incredibly lifelike. The game's commentary is also very good, and it does a great job of capturing the excitement of the fight.
Give This One a Wait and See or a Miss Entirely If...
While UFC 5 is an excellent game, there are a few things that could be improved. The career mode is a bit repetitive, and the online multiplayer can be frustrating at times. However, these are minor quibbles in an otherwise outstanding game.
